The Bighorn Sheep had a good year. I counted 13 new lambs in Horseshoe Park, near Sheep Lakes. That’s a great crop. In recent years, we’ve normally seen only 3 or 4 new lambs. The wildfires didn’t seem to bother the sheep. That is mostly because the sheep graze the tundra and meadows and the fires were in the dense forest.
